Three-Vehicle Crash Blocks Lanes on Highway 126 in Ventura County
VENTURA COUNTY, Calif. (June 29, 2026) — One person was hospitalized after a three-vehicle collision Monday morning on westbound Highway 126 near Victoria Avenue, blocking lanes and prompting an emergency response.
The crash was reported on June 29th at approximately 8:04 a.m. in the exit-only lane beneath the Victoria Avenue overpass on westbound State Route 126, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Initial dispatch information indicated an open 911 line from the scene. Moments later, CHP updated the incident to a traffic collision with injuries and dispatched emergency personnel.
Authorities said the crash involved three vehicles, including a green Toyota Corolla, a white Chevrolet Trax SUV, and a white Chevrolet Trailblazer occupied by two people, with airbags deployed.
By approximately 8:06 a.m., CHP reported the collision was blocking traffic lanes, creating delays for motorists traveling westbound on Highway 126.
The Ventura County Fire Department was notified and responded to the scene to assist with the incident. Dispatch mapping indicated the crash was located near the northbound Victoria Avenue on-ramp to westbound Highway 126.
The extent of any injuries has not been released, and the cause of the collision remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
Drivers were advised to expect delays in the area and seek alternate routes while emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
