Fatal Crash on Moreno Valley 60 Freeway, Near Main Street in Riverside

RIVERSIDE, Calif., (July 30, 2026) — A fatal collision in Riverside involving a Toyota Tacoma and a semi-truck occurred early Thursday morning on the eastbound Moreno Valley Freeway or State Route 60, just west of Main Street.

The tragic incident was reported on July 30th at approximately 4:51 a.m. when a Toyota Tacoma overturned onto its roof in the middle lane, according to the incident log. The semi-truck was reportedly blocking the high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lane. All involved parties were initially reported to be out of their vehicles shortly after the crash.

Emergency responders, including units from the Riverside Fire Department and the coroner’s office, were dispatched to the scene. Traffic was subsequently halted as authorities worked to manage the scene and conduct their investigation.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin. The incident remains under investigation by local authorities, who have requested that any witnesses come forward to assist in their inquiries.
