BAKERSFIELD, Calif., (Aug. 7, 2026) — A traffic collision involving two vehicles occurred Friday evening on northbound State Route 99, just south of Ming Avenue in Bakersfield. The incident, reported at approximately 8:43 p.m. on August 7th, involved a maroon sedan and a white truck, both of which sustained significant damage.
According to the initial California Highway Patrol log, the vehicles were found in the right turn lane, with the maroon sedan exhibiting major rear-end damage. The collision caused traffic disruption in the area as emergency responders worked to clear the scene.
