Fatal Crash 110 Freeway, Avenue 60 in Highland Park
LOS ANGELES, Calif., (August 10, 2026) — A fatal crash happened Monday night on Arroyo Seco Parkway or the 110 Freeway North, just south of Avenue 60 in the Highland Park area of Los Angeles.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:31 p.m. on August 10th, when emergency units responded to a report of a crash involving multiple vehicles. The specific location of the incident was identified as northbound SR-110, just south of Avenue 60, in Central Los Angeles.

Upon arrival, emergency responders found a red Hyundai Elantra involved in the crash. The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) was notified and multiple units were dispatched to the scene. The LAFD reported the situation to the Caltrans, leading to a hard closure of lanes one and two, while lane three remained open. A SigAlert was issued for a duration of two hours as crews worked to clear the scene.
The names and ages of the victims have not been released at this time, pending notification of next of kin. It remains unclear how many individuals were involved or if there were any other injuries resulting from the collision. Authorities are withholding additional details as the investigation progresses.
