EL CAJON, Calif., (Sept. 18, 2026) — A multi-vehicle crash in El Cajon occurred Friday morning on the westbound Interstate 8 Freeway at Mollison Avenue, resulting in minor injuries.

It happened on the morning of September 18, 2026, at 8:59 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

The collision involved four vehicles, including a black Toyota Prius, which sustained moderate end damage, the CHP report said. Emergency units were dispatched to the scene shortly after the collision was reported to help those with minor injuries.

Fortunately, injuries were deemed minor, and no serious harm was reported. The exact number of individuals injured has not been disclosed.
