MODESTO: Motorcyclist Injured in Crash at Carpenter Road and West Grayson Road

Motorcycle Versus SUV Collision at Intersection Near Ceres
MODESTO, Calif., (Oct. 5, 2026) — A major injury crash involving a motorcycle and a white Acura SUV occurred on Monday at South Carpenter Road and West Grayson Road near Ceres in Modesto.
The incident was reported on Oct. 5th at approximately 5:49 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). It’s unknown what led up to the motorcycle collision at the intersection, which is controlled by four-way stop signs. The woman driving the SUV called 911 for help.

Emergency responders were swiftly dispatched to the scene, where they discovered a motorcycle rider with a broken left foot, a serious injury indicative of the severity of the crash and both vehicles were towed. The injured motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the SUV had damage to its front right side following the crash.
Names of the individuals involved have not yet been released. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crash and are seeking witnesses who may have seen the incident unfold.
