DUI Suspected in Lancaster Crash at Tenth Street West and Avenue K

Driver Arrested on Suspicion of DUI; Man Trapped in Wreckage

LANCASTER, Calif. (Oct. 8, 2026) – A crash involving a suspected DUI driver happened early Thursday morning in Lancaster at Tenth Street West and Avenue K.

The traffic accident occurred around 4:20 a.m. on Oct. 8th at the Lancaster intersection, according to news reports.

Detectives working on the case determined a man driving one of the vehicles was likely driving while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The unidentified motorist was handcuffed and taken away by a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department SUV.

Meanwhile, firefighters extricated a second man who was trapped in the wreckage at the crash scene.

The injured man was taken by ambulance to Antelope Valley Medical Center for treatment of undisclosed injuries.

The investigation into the collision is ongoing.
