COACHELLA: Semi-Trucks Crash I-10 Freeway East, Dillon Road

One Hospitalized After Crash on the Redlands Freeway in Coachella

COACHELLA, Calif. (Oct. 12, 2026) — At least one person was injured in a crash involving two semi-trucks early Monday morning in Coachella on the I-10 Freeway East, just east of Dillon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The traffic accident happened at 4:22 a.m. on Oct. 12th in the Nos. 2 and 3 Lanes, involving a white 2015 International semi-truck and a white Freightliner semi-truck, the report said.

One of the truck drivers was hospitalized with minor injuries following the collision.

Meanwhile, one of the trucks was towed from the scene and the other was apparently drivable. The cause of the crash remains under investigation to determine fault.
