Two Hospitalized With Major Injuries After Crash in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif., (Oct. 29, 2026) — A major injury traffic collision involving three vehicles occurred early Thursday morning in Fresno at West Lincoln Ave and South McMullin Grade.

The incident was reported on Oct. 29th at approximately 6:40 a.m. at the Fresno intersection, according to the California Highway Patrol. Emergency response teams were dispatched to the scene, and units were recorded as arriving shortly before 7:00 a.m. The accident’s severity was upgraded from an unknown injury collision to a major injury incident at 7:24 a.m.

The drivers of a white Dodge Ram, a Honda CRV, and a Honda Accord were involved. Authorities determined the westbound Honda Accord allegedly failed to stop at a posted stop sign and was hit by a northbound Honda CRV. Next, a southbound Dodge Ram crashed into the CRV.

Paramedics responded and located the driver of the Accord trapped in their vehicle. They requested an air ambulance to take the person from the Honda Accord sedan to Community Regional Medical Center with major injuries. Also, the Honda CRV driver was taken to Clovis Community Medical Center for treatment of major injuries. Finally, the pickup truck driver did not require an ambulance following the crash.

However, it was noted that Caruthers Towing was requested to assist with the aftermath of the collision and multiple units were assigned to manage the situation.

Authorities have not released the names or ages of the individuals involved in the collision.

The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and is urging any witnesses to come forward with information that could assist in their investigation.
