ANAHEIM: Mohanad Alkabbani Killed in Motorcyle Crash Lincoln Avenue
ANAHEIM, California (March 14, 2017)- A motorcyclist identified as Mohanad Alkabbani, 27, of Garden Grove, and a car collided Monday night in a fatal crash on Lincoln Avenue, near Empire Street, according to a report by the Orange County Register.
The crash took place about 7:47 p.m. Paramedics and police rushed to the scene where they found Alkabbani suffering from major injuries following the crash.
He was taken by ambulance to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, where he later died of his injuries about 9:31 p.m. the same night, the Orange County Sheriff Coroner reports.
The woman who was driving the vehicle involved in the crash was unharmed. She stopped and was cooperative with the police investigation. Preliminary results indicate that drugs and alcohol were not factors.
Police closed down Lincoln Avenue between Empire and Brookhurst streets as they conducted their investigation into liability for the fatal crash.
