Barbara Lazaro, 37, of San Jose Victim Fatal Crash near Bel Aire Luxury Estates
SAN JOSE (January 8, 2018)- Barbara Lazaro, 37, of San Jose has been identified as the woman killed in a deadly 2-car accident Sunday night at the intersection of Silver Creek Valley and Beaumont Canyon roads.
San Jose police responded to the crash which was reported at 6:05 p.m. precisely near the Bel Aire Lexury Estates between a 98′ Toyota and a Mercedes.
Preliminary investigative efforts report that Lazaro was driving the Toyota going the speed limit when she struck the Mercedes driven by an unidentified man who had been making a left turn as the woman entered the intersection.
Paramedics were dispatched to the scene as the woman’s Toyota had rolled over ejecting her from inside causing her major injuries. She was rushed to a trauma center, where she was tragically pronounced dead a short while after her admittance.
Meanwhile, it was unclear whether or not the Mercedes driver suffered injuries. He did, however, remain at the scene and complied with officers.
The San Jose Police Department will be the agency handling the investigation.
