Teenager, 15, Victim in High School Pool Drowning
LOCATION: Danville, Contra Costa County
DATE OF INCIDENT: Tuesday, May 8th
May 10, 2018- According to the Claycord News, a teenager who was a student at San Ramon Valley High School, sadly died of his injuries suffered in a drowning accident on Tuesday.
The incident occurred right around 2:00 p.m. when 15-year-old first-year student Benjamin Curry was found in the school swimming pool.
The teen was rushed to Kaiser Permanente and despite life-saving resuscitation efforts, Curry was pronounced dead at the hospital.
No details have been disclosed in regards to the circumstances here and what exactly happened as the Danville Police Department handles the investigation and will ultimately determine what happened and why.
