Motorcyclist Injured in Big Sur Morning Collision
BIG SUR (August 1, 2018)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcyclist suffered injuries following a collision this morning on southbound Highway 1.
The collision occurred at 10:56 a.m. precisely just south of the Deetjen’s Big Sur Inn.
CHP officials were notified as were paramedics to treat and eventually transport the injured rider to the nearest hospital.
Injuries sustained by the victim are unclear at this time as is the cause of the crash which is under investigation right now.

California Highway Patrol will carry out a forensic examination of both the vehicle and the motorcycle, as well as photos that were taken of the scene, will help investigators determine which party ultimately caused the accident.
