Breante Whitaker, 15, Victim in Fatal DUI Crash

July 23, 2018- According to CBS Sacramento News, a deadly DUI crash left a teenage girl identified as Breante Whitaker of Sacramento with fatal injuries after the vehicle she was in was struck by a drunk driver.
According to the article, the 2-car collision occurred at 7:38 p.m. at the intersection of Elk Grove Boulevard and Adams Street.
Driver, 2 Passengers Hospitalized
Authorities confirmed that Austin Crownover, 27, has been driving under the influence before triggering the wreck which tragically left Whitaker dead and three other occupants in the same vehicle injured.
Two of the three people suffered major injuries and were rushed to a hospital for immediate treatment. Their conditions and names remain unknown at this time.
Austin Crownover Arrested for DUI
Meanwhile, Crownover was arrested by police officials for being under the influence after failing a sobriety test. He remains jailed as of Sunday evening and will not be given the option to bailed out.
