Girl, 14, Struck at Earlimart and Sierra Avenues
EARLIMART (October 25, 2018)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian accident was reported this morning at or near the cross streets of Earlimart and Sierra avenues.
Authorities report that the collision occurred around 6:4 a.m. when a teenage girl around the age of 14 was struck by an unknown vehicle.
Following the collision, the victim suffered an apparent leg injury which ranged from moderate to serious before being transported to a hospital, per CHP.
No details were provided in regards to the vehicle involved and whether or not the driver struck around and remained at the scene.
Investigators remained present gathering information and evidence until at least 9:00 a.m. to determine the full circumstances of the accident.
No additional facts have been presented at this time.
