Lenaxy Cardoza Fatally Injured; Edith Cardoza and Camila Cardoza Injured
ANTIOCH (January 18, 2018)- According to the East Bay Times, a mother and her two daughters were involved in a malicious collision Wednesday morning caused by the driver of a stolen vehicle on Somersville Road.
An updated report reads that a woman identified as Edith Cardoza accompanied by her two daughters, Lenaxy, 4, and Camila, were hit by the driver of a stolen pickup truck at precisely 12:54 p.m.
Noe Saucedo Arrested
The suspect and driver of the stolen white Ford F-250, Noe Saucedo, 23, of Pittsburg, blew through a red light and collided with a Ford F-150 driven by Edith Cardoza.
The collision tragically claimed the life of daughter Lenaxy and left both Edith and her other daughter Camila seriously injured.
According to reports, Camila’s condition worsened. The 2-year-old sadly has been put on life support at this time.
Edith has undergone a successful surgery. Her injuries include head trauma, broken ribs, and an arm injury that required the insertion of a metal plate.
Meanwhile, the suspect, Noe Saucedo, has since been arrested Saucedo and is currently being held on $1,050,000 bail.
East Bay Times noted that Saucedo previously had a record which included a domestic battery in 2015 and possession of methamphetamine back in September of last year.
