FOLSOM: Song Zhu Killed Fatal Head-on Car Crash Accident White Rock Road

FOLSOM: Fatal Head-on Crash White Rock Road at Prairie City RoadFOLSOM, California (March 20, 2017) –-According to the Sacramento Bee, a deadly 3-car wrong-way head-on crash resulted in the death of two and injuries to another driver Monday morning on White Rock Road near Prairie City Road.

California Highway Patrol officials responded to the crash site at roughly 8:20 a.m. when a 41-year-old man of El Dorado Hills identified as Christopher Haynes traveling at high rates of speed between 80-100 had been heading in the wrong direction of White Rock Road. He had been driving westbound within eastbound lanes before smashing head-on with a 21-year-old woman identified as Song Zhu, of Elk Grove.

A third driver was then involved moments later following the initial head-on crash.

Per the Sacramento Bee, Song Zhu tragically suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced at the scene.

The reckless driver, Haynes, was also killed in the crash as it remains to be known whether or not he was under the influence. Toxicology reports will soon determine whether he was inebriated.

The driver of the third vehicle was moderately injured hospitalized. He also has not been identified.

CHP officials are investigating the collision at this time and will release information once it is readily available.
