Motorcyclist, 35, Badly Injured, Taken to Palomar Medical Center
FALLBROOK (April 25, 2018)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle accident occurred Wednesday morning at the intersection of Mission Road and Macadamia Drive.
Authorities responded to the crash site between a 2017 Harley Davidson motorcycle and a 2015 Kia Optima at precisely 6:04 a.m.
According to firenewsfeed.com, a 20-year-old man from Hemet had been traveling westbound on Mission Road before crossing the double yellows directly into eastbound oncoming traffic, where his vehicle struck a 35-year-old man from Anza head-on.
The collision left the 35-year-old Anza rider was badly hurt as he was ejected from his motorcycle. The unidentified man was rushed to Palomar Medical Center with alleged life-threatening injuries remaining in critical condition Wednesday evening.
Meanwhile, both the motorcycle and car were towed away via the assistance of Adam’s Towing and Sky Towing.
California Highway Patrol officials remained present at the scene for over three hours resulting in moderate traffic delays.
