Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle
FALLBROOK (February 5, 2019)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a pedestrian versus vehicle collision was reported this morning.
CHP officials responded to the accident at 9:52 a.m. at the intersection of Main Avenue and Aviation Road.
Limited information has been provided at this time, however, it was confirmed the victim suffered injuries which they were transported to a nearby medical facility for.
As of 10:15 a.m., authorities remained present at the scene gathering details to determine the at-fault party.

Based on the details provided so far from the report, the driver will at least be held partially liable for the collision. There are still many unanswered questions, however. Under California law, drivers who are approaching a pedestrian are required to exercise due care and reduce their speed for the safety of the pedestrian.
