Wrongful Death Lawyer
Based on the information provided in this report, it seems as though the Mazda driver involved may be held liable for the collision as it appears there may have been negligence. Authorities will thoroughly look into how fast the driver was going, whether or not alcohol or drugs were involved, whether or not there were any mechanical issues with either vehicle. The investigation will also consist of looking at measurements of evidence left by the vehicles such as point of impact, final resting positions of each vehicle, skid marks, and gouge marks.
In such cases where negligence or wrongdoing may have been a factor, the family members of the young boy will likely be subject to a wrongful death lawsuit against the driver of the truck pending the findings of the investigation.
