James Owens, 55, Victim in North Hollywood Hit-and-Run
LOCATION: North Hollywood
DATE OF INCIDENT: Wednesday, April 26th
May 4, 2018– A man identified as James Owens, 55, has been identified as the man fatally struck following a hit-and-run Thursday night, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The collision was reported at precisely 10:46 p.m. at the intersection of Victory Boulevard and Vineland Avenue, the LAPD said.
James Owens sadly did not survive and died of his injuries at the scene of the crash.
Suspect Located and Arrested
Meanwhile, police were searching for the suspected hit-and-run driver who fled the scene in a company utility truck and has since found and arrested the suspect on charges of felony hit-and-run.
The suspect has not been identified by name at this time.
