MECCA: Nancy Zaragoza Killed, 2 Injured in Crash Accident on Grapefruit Boulevard
MECCA, California — On Saturday, March 11, a traffic collision on Grapefruit Boulevard killed one person and injured two others.
The fatal victim was identified as 31-year-old Nancy Zaragoza.
According to an article by Press Enterprise, four vehicles were involved in the Saturday morning accident that occurred near the Salton Sea.
Emergency crews arrived at around 7:00 a.m on the boulevard north of Highway 111 and found an unconscious person. After attempting CPR on Zaragoza, she was sadly pronounced deceased.
As per the report, two other people were severely injured following the crash. Both victims were transported by ambulance to a hospital in serious condition.
No further details have been released at this time as the cause of the collision and what transpired remain unclear at this time.
