Man Killed in Merced Pedestrian Hit-and-Run
DATE OF INCIDENT: Sunday, May 13th
May 16, 2018– According to the Merced Sun-Star, a deadly hit-and-run pedestrian collision occurred early Sunday morning at the intersection of R Street and Buena Vista Drive.
Merced police officials responded to the collision which transpired at roughly 2:00 a.m.
Authorities sadly disclosed that the pedestrian victim only being ID’d as a male did not survive his injuries and pronounced dead at the scene.
No details were provided in regards a description of the vehicle and information on the driver as the involved motorist failed to stop and proceeded to flee the scene.
This story is developing and will be updated pending the release of new details on the victim’s identity and the hopeful detainment of the hit-and-run suspect.
