Deadly Car Accident Thursday Morning
O’NEALS (January 10, 2018)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a deadly 2-car collision was reported this morning on northbound Highway 41.
CHP officials responded to the crash site following the accident which occurred at 7:35 a.m. precisely.
Descriptions of either vehicle were left out in the report as the California Fire Department along with paramedics rushed to the scene to provide immediate assistance to those involved.
Authorities confirmed that at least one person tragically sustained fatal injuries from the wreck while at least one other party suffered moderate to serious injuries before being transported to a local area hospital.
Highway 41 was quickly shut down in both directions of traffic just north of Road 200 while CHP officials gathered information to help with their investigation.
At this time, no details have been provided thus far in regards to the cause of the accident and what transpired as the investigation is currently ongoing.
