1 Dead, 2 Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash
OAKLAND (May 17, 2018)– According to the East Bay Times, a deadly hit-and-run collision was reported Thursday morning at the intersection of 98th and Bancroft avenues.
At roughly 2:28 a.m., two vehicles were involved in a violent crash.
Oakland police officials were notified and called to the scene where one of the drivers had fled the scene following the wreck.

Per the East Bay Times, one person tragically suffered fatal injuries and appeared to have been pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, it was indicated that one passenger in each of the vehicles sustained moderate to serious injuries each being rushed to hospitals by ambulance as their conditions remain unclear at this time.
Oakland PD shut the intersection down while they took the time to thoroughly investigate the scene.
