San Rafael Wrongful Death Lawyer
Based on the information provided in this report, it seems as though the driver of the vehicle involved may be held liable for the collision as it appears there may have been negligence. Authorities will thoroughly look into how fast the driver was going, whether or not alcohol or drugs were involved, whether or not there were any mechanical issues with the vehicle. The investigation will also consist of looking at measurements of evidence left by the vehicle and the bicycle such as point of impact, final resting positions of each vehicle, skid marks, and gouge marks.
In such cases where negligence or wrongdoing may have been a factor, the family members of Mr. Paul Ingles will likely be subject to a wrongful death lawsuit against the driver of the truck pending the findings of the investigation. Wrongful death victims are entitled to compensation for damages including medical expenses, funeral costs, lost future income, pain and suffering, and loss of love and companionship.
