Pregnant Woman and 5-Year-Old Child Hurt in Hit-and-Run Crash
DATE OF COLLISION: Tuesday, July 31st
August 2, 2018- According to the Claycord News, a pregnant woman and her child were injured at the expense of a hit-and-run driver after a crash Tuesday at the intersection of Treat Boulevard and Clayton Road.
The collision occurred during the evening at an unspecified time when a silver or light blue BMW struck the vehicle the six months pregnant woman and her 5-year-old child were in.
Both the mother and her child were transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.
Claycord police officials have not been able to locate the suspect thus far but do have a lead on the driver who has been described as a Latino male in his mid-20s. He has short hair with the first four characters of the license plate possibly being “6MPG.”
