Redondo Beach Fatal Motorcycle Crash 405 Freeway, March 29REDONDO BEACH (March 30, 2017)- According to the Press-Telegram, a motorcycle crash on the 405 freeway at Inglewood Avenue took place Wednesday afternoon.

At around 1:20 p.m., a 46-year-old man accompanied by a 36-year-old woman had been operating a motorcycle within the northbound lanes of the 405 before hitting an elevated curb causing both parties to be thrown from the bike.

The unidentified man was gravely injured as he was rushed to little Company of Marry Hospital located in the city of Torrance. He sadly died of his injuries shortly after his admittance to the hospital.

Per the article, the woman who also has not been identified was seriously hurt and rushed to UCLA Med Center. Her condition is unclear at this time.

California Highway Patrol officials are currently investigating the collision and will determine whether speed or road issues were contributing factors.
