Motorcycle and Pickup Truck Collide
RIVERSIDE (July 31, 2018)- According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle and a pickup truck were involved in a crash this morning at the intersection of Krameria and Porter avenues.
At roughly 6:06 a.m., a silver Dodge Ram pickup truck and a 2017 Kawasaki motorcycle collided.
Officials report that the rider was thrown from his bike and moderate to seriously injured.
The California Fire Department along with paramedics arrived at the scene to treat the unidentified victim who was eventually transported to a nearby hospital.
Meanwhile, it did not appear that the pickup truck driver was injured, however, a tow truck was confirmed to have been required which towed away both vehicles from the scene.
Details in regards to the cause of the accident are unclear at this time.
