SAN DIEGO: Garold Crosbie Killed in Hit-and-Run on Pacific Coast Highway and Laurel; David Dominguez Arrested
SAN DIEGO (April 7, 2017)- According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, a deadly hit-and-run left a man identified as Garold Crosbie, 50, with fatal injuries Thursday evening at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Laurel Street in the Harbor View neighborhood area.
At around 11:20 p.m., Garold Crosbie was inside a crosswalk crossing the intersection upon being struck by what witnesses said to have been a speeding white SUV.
Garold Crosbie suffered grave injuries and was rushed to a trauma center where he was sadly pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, the hit-and-run driver failed to stop after hitting the victim and was last seen headed northbound on Harbor Drive.
Police later found a damaged SUV on Brooklyn Avenue in Encanto and arrested the suspect, 21-year-old David Dominguez. He is expected to be booked into jail on suspicion of felony hit-and-run, DUI and other charges
