STOCKTON: Fatal Car Crash Accident on Highway 4; Man, 35, Injured
STOCKTON (March 14, 2017)- According to KCRA, a fatal crash took place Tuesday morning on Highway 4 near Stanley Road between two vehicles.
The crash occurred at roughly 6:15 a.m. when a Ford F-150 and a Chevy Cavalier collided.
Reports indicate that the driver of the Ford F-150 had been traveling westbound on Highway 4 before veering into eastbound lanes directly into the path of the Chevy Cavalier.
Per KCRA, the driver of the Chevy Cavalier only being identified as a 35-year-old man suffered major injuries and was rushed to a trauma center. He remains in serious condition.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford, a 54-year-old man, sadly did not survive the impact and was pronounced at the scene.
California Highway Patrol officials were able to determine that neither drugs nor alcohol were contributing factors.
