Man, 25, Badly Injured; Second Victim Hurt
SANTA ANA (December 18, 2017)- per the Santa Ana Police Department, early Sunday morning two pedestrians were struck by a hit-and-run driver who fled the scene on foot following the wreck.
At roughly 2:26 a.m., the driver of a black sedan or SUV struck two pedestrian as they crossed at 2233 West 2nd Street.
One of the victims, a 25-year-old man, suffered significant injuries and was quickly rushed to a trauma center, where his condition remains unknown at this time.
Meanwhile, the second victim had injuries to only his face and back declared as minor. The unidentified victims did not elect to be taken to the hospital but was treated at the scene.
Driver Crashes Into Wall and Flees
The hit-and-run suspct’s vehicle ultimately plowed into and through a wall as culprit currently remains at large.
Santa Ana PD will be handling the investigation.
