Bicyclist Badly Injured in Collision
SANTA BARBARA (July 12, 2018)- According to KEYT News, a major injury bicycle accident was reported Thursday morning at the intersection of Victoria Avenue and De La Vina Street.
The collision allegedly took place around 9:00 a.m. triggering the response of the Santa Barbara Police Department.
Following the crash, the unidentified bicyclist suffered major injuries which included several broken bones before being rushed to a medical center for immediate treatment.
Details in regards to the driver involved and the cause of the incident remain unclear as Santa Barbara police officials put together a police report.
No additional information has been provided as the investigation is ongoing.
