Santa Cruz Wrongful Death Lawyer
Most traffic accidents which involve a driver who flees the scene can be subjected to serious criminal charges, especially when a particular crash causes serious injuries to another person. Such circumstances are considered as “felony hit-and-run,” leaving the victim or victim’s family a legal right to pursue a wrongful death or personal injury lawsuit against the suspect.
In such cases where negligence or wrongdoing may have been a factor, the immediate family of the victim will be entitled to a wrongful death lawsuit against the at-fault hit-and-run suspect seeking compensation for damages including medical expenses and hospital bills, funeral costs, lost future income, and loss of love and companionship.
