Tuesday Crash in Selma with Semi-Truck
SELMA (August 15, 2917)- According to the California Highway Patrol, an injury collision was reported involving a semi-truck Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Berthel and Dinuba avenues.
CHP officials were alerted of the crash between a semi-truck and an orange 2-door sedan at 1:46 p.m. precisely.
Both vehicles blocked the entire intersection following the wreck resulting in a temporarily closure while things were squared away.
At least one person in the sedan was injured and taken to a nearby medical facility for a head injury and possibly lower extremity injuries as well.
Fresno Sheriff officials were also called to the scene within 15 minutes of the crash to assist with the investigation.
Per the CHP dispatched team, Express Towing assisted in removing the sedan from the scene.
No details were listed regarding what occurred and why as the incident is currently under investigation.
