2 Semi-Trucks and Vehicle in Major Injury Crash
SMARTSVILLE, YUBA COUNTY (June 5, 2018)– According to the California Highway Patrol, a major injury collision was reported on Highway 20 at or near Parks Bar Bridge Tuesday morning.
At roughly 6:40 a.m., two semi-trucks and an alleged sedan were involved in an injurious incident.
One Person Allegedly Hit With Hammer
There were no details describing what happened with the crash itself, however, there was information provided that one motorist may have been struck in the head with a hammer by another motorist possibly during an altercation following the collision.
The Yuba County Fire Department and paramedics were prompted to the scene to treat at least one person with major injuries before rushing that individual to a hospital.
There were reports of at least one other motorist with injuries but no confirmation if that person was taken to a medical center for assessment.
