TURLOCK: Car Crash at Hawkeye Avenue and Golden State Boulevard
TURLOCK (March 29, 2017)- According to the Modesto Bee, a major injury crash left two young girls and a mother seriously injured Wednesday.
The collision took place right around noon involving three total vehicles including a Toyota pickup truck, an Acura, and a Volvo.
Authorities disclosed that the two children and mother who were injured were all in the same vehicle, the Acura Both children, an infant and a 4-year-old, were found unresponsive upon the arrival of paramedics as both were flown to a trauma center for immediate medical attention.
Meanwhile, the mother incurred injuries described as being anywhere from moderate to serious as she was transported to a hospital for her injuries.
Per the Modesto Bee, the driver of the pickup identified as Sargis Mirza, was uninjured in the collision as he immediately exited his vehicle to assist the mother and her children.
It was unclear whether or not the driver of the Volvo was injured following the collision as its driver refused medical treatment at the scene.
No details have been disclosed at this time regarding which vehicle caused the accident and what exactly transpired.
The Turlock Police Department will handle the investigation.
