Passengers Trapped in Car Due to Collision
London, Calif. (June 29, 2023) — A multi-vehicle car accident occurred on Avenue 384, just west of Road 56 Wednesday afternoon in London, Tulare County.
The head-on collision occurred about 2:36 p.m. on June 28th, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
Two vehicles were involved in this crash, one being a blue van and the other a semi truck. The van collided head-on and then the car hit the trailer of the semi truck. The van soon after ran straight into an orange grove on the side of the road. Another vehicle, a sedan, collided into the semi truck. The party inside the sedan became stuck inside the vehicle due to the door being stuck.
Paramedics with the Tulare County Fire Department responded to help those hurt in the crash. Tow trucks were then soon alerted to come and help remove the damaged vehicles off the highway.
Investigators are working on the case to determine fault and to determine more facts on the crash.
