Fatal Multi-Vehicle Collision Near Gilman Springs Road
San Jacinto, CA (July 27, 2022) – Aaron Begnaud, a 33-year-old Orange resident, died following a traffic accident that occurred on State Route Highway 79.
On Tuesday, a multi-vehicle collision took place in the southbound side of the highway near Gilman Springs Road. The Orange County Register News reported three vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, crashed into each other on SR-79 in San Jacinto. The force from the impact caused at least one car to overturned.

Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly after 9 a.m. First responders found as many as three people suffering in injuries. According to the article published online, paramedics performed life-saving measures to one victim but he sadly succumbed to his injuries and died. Meanwhile, rescue teams transported the other two patients to hospitals for further treatment and evaluation.
On Wednesday, the Riverside County coroner’s office identified the deceased as Aaron Begnaud.
Several factors surrounding the unfortunate event remained unclear. At this time, detectives continue to investigate the precise cause of the collision that happened on Highway 79 in San Jacinto.
