Aaron Rhoades, 45, Killed in Lakeview Crash Near Gilman Springs and Bridge
LAKEVIEW, CA (April 4, 2021) – A motorcycle crash killed Aaron Rhoades near Gilman Springs Road and Bridge Street in Lakeview.
The Riverside County coroner’s office identified the 45-year-old Idyllwild man as the victim of the fatal wreck on Saturday morning.
The incident happened on April 3 when Aaron Rhoades was riding a motorcycle in the unincorporated community of Lakeview. For an unknown reason, he collided with a passenger van.

Deputies said the two crashed near the intersection of Gilman Springs Road and Bridge Street. According to The Sun and My News LA, officers reported the accident shortly after 8:05 a.m.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded and found Aaron Rhoades lying on the ground as a result of the collision. Medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, officials did not mention if any occupant of the van ended up injured upon impact. Authorities shut down the intersection of Gilman Springs and Bridge for a time following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Lakeview crash is still under investigation.
