Fresno Man, 55, Killed in Crash at Cedar Ave and Kenmore Drive
FRESNO, Calif. (Feb. 10, 2021) — Aaron Rivera, 55, of Fresno, died after he was struck by a car while riding a bicycle on Cedar Avenue in Fresno.
The bicycle rider suffered severe head injuries after the collision near Kenmore Drive in Fresno County.
The crash happened just before 2:30 pm. on February 9th, according to the Fresno County Sheriff Coroner.
The bicyclist reportedly exited an alley and drove directly into the path of the car. The motorist in the vehicle told authorities they were unable to stop before hitting the bicyclist.
When the two collided, the bicyclist was thrown onto the car and struck his head. Meanwhile, this resulted in a severe head injury because he was not wearing a helmet, police said.
Furthermore, the driver of the car stopped and cooperated with authorities.
