Fatal Lake Forest Motorcycle Accident Live Oak Canyon and Santiago Canyon Roads
PORTOLA HILLS, Calif. (August 6, 2018) – A motorcyclist identified as Abdifatah Mohamed, 37, of Orange was killed in a crash with a vehicle near the Portola Hills area of Lake Forest, according to the Orange County coroner’s office.
The crash took place about 6:47 p.m. Sunday at Live Oak Canyon and Santiago Canyon roads, according to a dispatch by the California Highway patrol.
Sadly, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no immediate details about what led to the collision.

At this time, we do not know all the facts about this case. It’s unknown which motorist had the right-of-way at the intersection or whether or not speed was a factor. Police are piecing together evidence and speaking to witnesses to determine fault.
