Abdoul Diallo, 34, Killed in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run at La Cienega and Imperial
LOS ANGELES, CA (July 1, 2021) – A hit-and-run crash killed Abdoul Diallo at La Cienega Boulevard and Imperial Highway in Los Angeles.
The coroner’s office identified the 34-year-old Inglewood man as the victim of the fatal collision which occurred early Thursday.
The incident happened when Abdoul Diallo was crossing La Cienega Boulevard at the intersection with Imperial Highway in Los Angeles.
Police said for an unknown reason, a vehicle going south then struck him. My News LA wrote that the accident took place at about 12:35 a.m. near the 405 Freeway.
Pedestrian Hit by RV
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived and found the victim left lying on the ground. Abdoul Diallo sustained major injuries as a result of the Los Angeles crash.
Medical personnel soon pronounced him dead at the scene. Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver did not stop to render aid to the pedestrian and fled the area.
They described the vehicle involved as a white recreational vehicle or camper. Officials forced the intersection of La Cienega and Imperial to shut down for a time following the accident.
