2 Hospitalized After Wrong-Way Collision on 14 Freeway Friday
Acton, CA (July 2, 2021) – Two people suffered injuries following a car crash that occurred on 14 Freeway Friday afternoon, the CBS Los Angeles reported.

Our sources indicated a passenger vehicle was seen traveling the wrong direction on 14 Freeway at about 2:45 p.m. When the wrong-way vehicle approached the area near Crown Valley Road in Acton, it collided head-on into a big rig.
The force from the impact sparked fire, officials confirmed. First responders found the truck fully engulfed in flames.
According to the article published online, one person was trapped in the wreckage. Firefighters at the scene worked extensively to free the victim.
A helicopter later landed near the crash site. Authorities airlifted two patients to the hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. The names of the injured parties, and their conditions at this time remained undisclosed.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate several factors surrounding the car and big rig crash in Acton.
