ACTON: Child Hit by Truck on Listie Avenue; Victim Airlifted to HospitalACTON, California — According to an article by Signal SCV, a child was seriously injured after being involved in a pedestrian accident on Listie Avenue in the afternoon of January 2.

As per the report, the accident transpired at about 12:19 p.m. in the 32900 block of the avenue, north of Soledad Canyon Road and south of Sierra Highway.

Paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department were dispatched to the scene where they located a young pedestrian injured due to being struck by a truck. The victim was rushed to a hospital via an air ambulance.

The identity, age and gender of the child were not disclosed due to pending next of kin notification.

The cause of the collision remained under investigation.
