
3-Vehicle Crash on La Brea Ave in Hollywood
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (Nov. 2, 2023) – “Succession” Star Alan Ruck, 67, hit two vehicles in his Rivian electric pickup truck before crashing into Raffalo’s Pizza on North La Brea Avenue in Hollywood.
It happened just after 9:25 p.m. on Halloween night, Oct. 31st between the pickup and two sedans, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department. The actor’s white Rivian pickup truck rear-ended one car and hit a second car before it went off the roadway and crashed head-on into Raffallo’s Pizza shop. The truck sustained major damage and caused the closure of the pizza restaurant after it left a huge hole in the wall.
Meanwhile, a 32-year-old man was injured in the collision in the 1600 block of North La Brea Avenue near Hollywood Boulevard, according to KTLA 5 News. However, authorities confirmed that no pedestrians were injured in the crash.
Firefighters responded to the scene and located the injured driver from the pickup after the collision. They transported at least one person to a hospital, but there are no further details.
Meanwhile, the LAFD’s Urban Search and Rescue team was at the scene to investigate the stability of the building.
Investigators with the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety were also evaluating the building’s condition.
