Adam Alvarez, 36, Killed in Beldridge Head-On Crash on Highway 33
KERN COUNTY, CA (March 14, 2022) – A fatal crash on Highway 33 in Belridge left Adam Alvarez seriously injured.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 36-year-old Corona man as the victim in the wreck which took place on Saturday.
The incident happened when Adam Alvarez was driving a Toyota south on Highway 33 in the Belridge area of Kern County. At the same time, a Honda was going north.
2 Killed in Wreck
For an unknown reason, the Honda spun out of control. The car drifted into the southbound lanes and went into the path of the Toyota.
CHP said the two cars then collided head-on. The Kern Golden Empire and Taft Midway Driller wrote that the accident occurred on March 12 shortly after 5 p.m. near Lost Hills.
Adam Alvarez ended up suffering from moderate injuries as a result of the crash. Paramedics arrived and took him to the Kern Medical for treatment.
Meanwhile, the male driver and passenger of the Honda died following the wreck. The cause of the Belridge crash is still under investigation.
