Rider Dies at Hospital After Collision at Balsam and Lone Eagle
Victorville, CA (June 20, 2022) – Adam James Chaidez, a 40-year-old man, suffered life-threatening injuries following a traffic crash that occurred in the area of Balsam Road and Lone Eagle Street.
The Victor Valley News Group reported Chaidez was riding a motorbike traveling in the streets of Victorville Wednesday afternoon. When the motorcyclist approached the intersection of Balsam and Lone Eagle, it collided into a carrier van for Fed Ex.
Shortly after 3:48 p.m., rescue teams arrived at the location. First responders found the rider in severe pain. Due to the condition of Chaidez, a helicopter airlifted him to an out-of-area trauma center. Despite life-saving efforts, the patient sadly succumbed to his injuries and passed away at the hospital. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department identified the deceased as Adam James Chaidez, of Hesperia.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver of the van.
Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
