Adam Joss, Carter Norton Injured After Fatal Crash on SR-101 Sunday
ATASCADERO, Ca (July 5, 2020) – A solo-vehicle accident occurred on Highway 101 near Del Rio Road offramp Sunday, the KEYT News reported.
At approximately 2 p.m., a 2007 Lexus with four occupants rolled over on SR-101. Our sources indicated the driver veered off the roadway for an unknown reason, then immediately turned the steering wheel to the direction of the highway. Official said the driver overcorrected and caused the Lexus to overturn multiple times.
Emergency crews rushed to the site and found the car engulfed in flames. Gas probably leaked, leading to the fire, after the Lexus landed on its roof.
One passenger reportedly sadly died as a result of the mishap. Pending confirmation and notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.

Meanwhile, the driver and his two passengers–20-year-old Adam Joss and 20-year-old Carter Norton, all sustained minor to moderate injuries in the crash. The conditions of the patients at this time have not bee revealed thus far.
The California Highway Patrol group is the agency handling the investigation.
