Adan Orozco, 38, Killed in Pomona Bicycle Crash Near First and San Lorenzo
POMONA, CA (January 28, 2023) – Bicycle rider, Adan Orozco, was killed after a crash near First and San Lorenzo streets in Pomona.
The coroner’s office identified the 38-year-old man as the victim of the fatal collision which took place on Thursday.
The incident happened when Adan Orozco was riding a bicycle in the area of East First and San Lorenzo streets in Pomona. For an unknown reason, an SUV struck him.
Man Hit by Car
Police said the car hit the bicyclist near the intersection. Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived and found him lying on the ground as a result of the wreck.
Adan Orozco died at the scene of the bicycle accident. My News LA wrote that the collision occurred on January 26 at about 7:28 p.m.
Meanwhile, police added that the driver of the SUV stopped and stayed at the site following the incident. Officers forced the area of First and San Lorenzo streets to shut down after the wreck.
